Lawyer says Murdaugh is Person of Interest in his family's slaying

A lawyer for Alex Murdaugh has admitted that Murdaugh has been a 'person of interest' to South Carolina authorities all along, since the murders of his wife and son in July:

By a local reporter. She goes deeply into the 5 deaths and the huge swindle at the center, where Murdaugh used his local legal cronies to steal a $4 million settlement from his dead housekeeper's family.

It really shows how the rich in a small town can twist the legal system.
