So what will be The Pillow Guy's reward?

Let's assume for a moment that the Orange Beast ends up back in the White House with his fellow thugs, while his storm troopers terrorize people in the streets of America. (Right now, this is a scenario that we sane people worry about a lot and which we can't allow to happen.)

However, since The My Pillow Guy has been out there for a year or two singing Trump's praises, he must receive some kind of reward from "Dear Leader."

It's general knowledge, (except perhaps to some fraction of Trump cultists), that the Pillow Guy is badly in need of a straight jacket. He also needs a small tad of historic knowledge to know that those who helped Hitler come to power, were all murdered on "The Night of the Long Knives." (After all, they were an organized group of people who might present a future threat to their beloved Fuhrer.)

Sooo, Dear My Pillow Guy: If you really think you're going to be rewarded by being given the biggest pillow factory in the country, it ain't gonna happen. Listen to me, idiot. No matter how much you helped your idol, you are meaningless to him. You are less than a worm. At best, you'll get to be the guy who fluffs up your master's pillows when he gets into bed every night. At worst, you'll go the way of all the others who helped a maniac regain the Oval Office and are no longer of any use to him.

This story of The Pillow Guy is a glimpse into a possible future that is coming at us like a speeding freight train. Trump and the Republican Party will destroy America unless we find some way to stop them. And you really don't need to listen very carefully to hear the sounds of goose steps just over the horizon.

to not rush, as things will work out. Really? I’d like to agree.

All that I am reading these days, actually coming from those in influential positions or informed sources, are screaming bloody murder about the train wreck just ahead of us, and the need to, and I hate to say it, fight like a Republican. I also have read far too many posts about our laid back approach in dealing with the very visible threats ahead of us. Time is running out.

Deal with Manchin. Deal with Sinema. It’s mind boggling that members of our own party are holding us back at a time when many view this situation as the greatest threat to our democracy.

There simply is no time to wait. The mid-terms are right around the corner, and life in America as we know it, is on the line.

Fight, damn it, and fight hard!

Our Dem leaders really don't know how to fight fascism. And any that do, aren't calling the shots.

As much as I hate to think this way, I believe we may have another two to three years of democracy. So I'm living my life like every day counts.

Who ever thought that an incompetent collection of buffoons would be able to take over America?

Then again, we have to look at who's holding their leashes: Big oil, Big coal, Big pharma and Big everything else. The logical conclusion seems to be that the outcome of unregulated capitalism leads to fascism.

But people need to be planning for contingencies. Because when Republicans throw away our votes in 2024, we better have an organized plan other than, "let's see what the Republican-controlled Supreme Court thinks."

the idea that Trump never thinks he owes anyone anything. He can't even grasp the concept.
