My county in Texas reported 3 Covid deaths yesterday, more than the entire state of Florida. What ??

My county data comes from the CNN Website ([https://www.cnn.com/resources/coronavirus-information]) The source for Florida is [link:https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/|

I have found the CNN site to be an excellent resource. Click on the US map (upper right) and then any state and then you can go to any county.

Florida is reporting over 3,000 new cases a day. Daily consistent single digit deaths are an oddity. nature-lover Oct 2021 #2

It’s been a hell of a three months, but things have been stable. Other states may go through it next.

It was really bad and people got scared and some of the hesitant got their shots. This thing seems to be cyclical - so we'll see what happens in the winter. There's still way too much infection here and I wear my mask in public, don't go to crowded places, etc. etc.

Having said that, death sentence is a cheater & liar & murderer so I don't trust this "good news" about deaths.

beginning(I still lived there when Covid began, I didn't move because of it). These ridiculous numbers lately are infuriating. I moved last year, almost everyone I love and care about live there. I'm a Florida girl born and raised, I lived there my entire 43 years of life and it breaks my heart. DeSantis is destroying my state, not just Covid/masks in schools. Over 100 manatees have died this summer, it feels like they just came off the endangered list.😭

Every damn time that numbers start trending down, Abbutt does something that screws up what’s making the numbers come down.

Current case in point - large school district in San Antonio fought for masks. As the cases have dropped, the school district has given in and does not require them. Abbutt is suing so the schools are in a horrible situation.
