GOP committee sent a message accusing supporters who hadn't donated of being traitors

A top GOP committee dedicated to electing Republicans to the House of Representatives is taking an adversarial approach to some of its recent fundraising attempts.

The National Republican Congressional Committee sent a fundraising message this month threatening supporters who had not yet donated, calling them a "traitor," The Washington Post reported.

"You abandoned Trump," a text version of the message said. "We were told you were a tried & true, lifelong patriot."

"But when Trump said he'd run for President if we took back the House from Nancy Pelosi...You did nothing. Was Trump wrong about you?" the statement asked.

Of course I'll contribute to someone who calls me a traitor and a deserter; that's so endearing.

If I got something like this from any Pol I had supported, my instant and unchangeable reaction would be 'Fuck you, you never get another cent from me'. But the marks... This will scare them and they will send more money.

The grift goes on.

Is it the same snowflakes who get all whiny and bent out of shape when liberals and progressives disagree with them, and make up all sorts of claims to martyrdom when their views are accurately represented in a way that makes them look like flaming hypocrites?

I don't suppose there's going to be a Frank Luntz focus group convened to complain about the NRCC calling them disloyal.

Lot of people saying Joe keeps sales pitching the recipe instead of the brownies and I would expect that message from Trump, but the NRCC seems to have a communications issue.
