4. I know several fully vaccinated seniors with

breakthrough cases. They have not been anywhere except their doctor's office for regular checks ups and labs. They have not spent time with unvaccinated family members. They have not been to church inside. iows - They all think they got it from health care providers.

Edit: and they all wear masks when inside the grocery store or drug store. The only time they take them off is if a medical procedure requires it.

3. I met both Powells in the 90's at a ship christening.

Alma Powell was the sponsor and was a very sweet lady, paid attention to everyone and seemed interested in everything that was going on.

The type of lady who notes birthdays and anniversaries of everyone she has an acquaintance with.

Whatever Colin Powell was, she deserves well wishes and sympathy.

One of our very close friends died recently from cancer - her husband is very upset that he didn't die first. He has no interest in living - they were together for 53 years - married for fifty.
