Seattle Police and Firefighters swore they'd quit rather than get vaxxed! Hundreds!

The news ran with it for weeks. We’re so screwed! Your house will burn! You’ll never get 9-1-1!

The deadline in in a couple of days. Sixteen firefighters and 24 cops are still holding out. 😂

Remember not to let them get to you with speculation and hysteria.

So these people spend a work day out in public and for certain around some people with the potential to give them the Covid virus. But. Their personal choice is to do that, possibly get infected and THEN take it home to spouses, kids, elderly relatives, neighbors, etc.

They don't understand being in public service and PROTECTING their community. They really don't. Let them go.

"Just 54% of Chicago Police Officers Tell City Officials They Are Vaccinated Against COVID-19"

More than 35.6% of the Chicago Police Department — 4,543 employees — are in jeopardy of being disciplined and eventually fired for failing to comply with Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s order that they disclose their vaccination status to the city.

The Chicago Police Department has the lowest rate of compliance with the city’s vaccine mandate of all of the 15 city departments, according to the data. Before a judge ordered him on Friday to stop bashing the vaccine mandate, Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara repeatedly called for officers to defy the city’s order.

33. FBI warned of white supremacists in law enforcement 10 years ago. Has anything changed?
Mon Oct 18, 2021, 11:01 PM
Oct 2021

In the 2006 bulletin, the FBI detailed the threat of white nationalists and skinheads infiltrating police in order to disrupt investigations against fellow members and recruit other supremacists. The bulletin was released during a period of scandal for many law enforcement agencies throughout the country, including a neo-Nazi gang formed by members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department who harassed black and Latino communities. Similar investigations revealed officers and entire agencies with hate group ties in Illinois, Ohio and Texas.

Much of the bulletin has been redacted, but in it, the FBI identified white supremacists in law enforcement as a concern, because of their access to both “restricted areas vulnerable to sabotage” and elected officials or people who could be seen as “potential targets for violence.” The memo also warned of “ghost skins,” hate group members who don’t overtly display their beliefs in order to “blend into society and covertly advance white supremacist causes.”

“At least one white supremacist group has reportedly encouraged ghost skins to seek positions in law enforcement for the capability of alerting skinhead crews of pending investigative action against them,” the report read.

Problems with white supremacists in law enforcement have surfaced since that report. In 2014, two Florida officers — including a deputy police chief — were fired after an FBI informant outed them as members of the Ku Klux Klan. It marked the second time within five years that the agency uncovered an officer’s membership in the KKK. Several agencies nationwide have also launched investigations into personnel who may not be formal hate group members, but face allegations of race-based misconduct.

I read that report yesterday'.
The way it's framed is that 54% REPORT being fully vaxxed. But, that doesn't mean 46% aren't vaxxed.
The number reporting they aren't vaxxed was relatively tiny.
Given the leadership & union are encouraging resistance, I wonder how many of that 46% are vaxxed but don't want to declare, worried about push back from the idiots among them.
So, the number might be way higher than 54%, but the system is rigged against accurate figures.

Those cops and firefighters probably thought that if they yelled and screamed enough and threatened to hold their breath till they turned blue (i.e., quit their jobs), the powers that be would back off and go, "Oh, sorry, guys! We were just kidding! You don't REALLY have to get vaxxed! Oops, our bad!"

Then they found out that was not going to happen and the choice was actually "Get the jab or you're out of a job, for realz! No backsies!" And most of them realized they actually didn't want to give up their paycheck to make a political statement! That seems to be what's happening a lot of places, and I'm going through a lot of popcorn watching all this play out.
