A federal judge has denied motions to suppress video evidence found on electronic devices seized from former reality TV star Josh Duggar, who is facing child pornography chargesFAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- A federal judge has denied motions to suppress video evidence found on electronic devices that were seized from former reality TV star Josh Duggar, who is facing child pornography charges.
U.S. District Judge Timothy L. Brooks also said Monday that a hearing on the motions isn't warranted, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
Duggar, who appeared in TLCs 19 Kids and Counting, was charged in April with two counts of downloading and possessing child pornography.
Duggars attorneys argued that evidence in the case had become stale because so much time elapsed between federal agents downloading files from the seized devices and the issuance of a search warrant.

I never knew that "stale evidence" could be a thing...

I'd be interested in hearing from DU lawyers or LEO how evidence becomes "stale"

That it may prove their clients guilt?

That's a curious term in this context.

(14,624 posts)3. By "stale" evidence I wonder if they mean that the violated children have aged out
and are no longer of interest to that sick motherfucker Josh Duggar.
Seriously, how many chances is that pedophile going to get? Why the fuck is he not in prison already? Oh yeah, his family protected him when he molested his sisters, because a male's life matters more to them than the lives of his sisters.
What a bunch of sick freaks. Christians, my ass!

are photos of his hands and feet. Apparently, there must be kiddie porn photos including hands and feet of the perp.
