... in France after DDay, when he stepped on a mine walking out of a medical tent along with five others, his dad, SP6 Luther Sexton Fortenberry Jr was killed in Viet Nam in 1968.

The Congressman did go along with President Obama to France to decorate graves, in cluding the Congressman's grandfather.

Weird the obit claims grandpa as a 'survivor'.

... in dutch, he's clogging up searches. I think there was a Fortenberry in Louisiana, but there are thousands of Fortenberrys there and when I try to modify the search with crime or scandal or indictment, I get back to the Congressman. There is also a reporter Fortenberry on NPR/PBR.
