I would not say everyone from republican states or districts are deplorable. I mean, I live in Texas. My two senators and my governor are the worst of the worst. But, just like you I am surrounded by stupid, clueless, deplorable, mean-spirited hypocrites.

No Texas republican is worried about what happens in Washington. They have gerrymandered the state into a twisted hell. Their deplorable base will vote against Democrats regardless of who is running. And that is because they are stupid.

As in other states, even when they don't have a majority, they will cull Democratic voters, mess up polling places in Democratic strongholds, send in gun toting thugs to intimidate decent voters, and simply cheat in order to win. They lie and then declare themselves the protectors of virtue.

I'm sure your andy biggs isn't worried about his election. He has a district designed to reflect, not he will of the people, but the urges of the deplorable.
