Why did this young man end up in dead in a rural Texas town?

When Adil Dghoughi left his girlfriend’s home in Maxwell, Texas, just after 3 a.m. on Oct. 11, she didn’t think anything of it. Sarah Todd told The Daily Beast the 31-year-old Moroccan native enjoyed late-night drives during which he would listen to music from his country, and sing.

“It was kind of a relaxation thing for him,” Todd told The Daily Beast.

But according to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, by 3:42 a.m. Dghoughi was being transferred to a hospital after he’d been shot by a white property owner named Terry Turner in Martindale, less than five miles away from Maxwell. The Sheriff’s Office said the shooting occurred after Turner confronted a “suspicious” car parked outside his home.

They also said Turner, 65, was “cooperative” and had not been arrested.

There's a photo of the car on the link... look at it. I think it's still be held by the police. And my question is why is there rain on that car? How close did Turner get to Adil before he opened fire... in "self-defense"?

too many "reasons" why it is okay to SHOOT someone, this is just horrible.

Someone ends up in your driveway? shoot 'em, don't ask any questions

... the guy harasses and intimidates the elderly. The police have been called out three times. I was told by police the last time that the moron goes armed and that my taking one video of him on my property with no communication between us from more than 50 constituted a violation of his ground and could legally get me shot.

We're becoming the POA President and Treasurer for next term and he's going to be gone. We found a registered contractor who has just finished work on the inside of unit and fixed the columns on our deck for for less than half of what the moron wanted.

As the kid trying to do a turnaround in the driveway and the owner getting pissed about it and trying to threaten/stop him and then that escalated. He might even have parked to look at his phone's GPS. Unless he had a weapon in his hand their was no justification.

Of course he is cooperating there is a dead guy in his driveway. How can you not "cooperate"?

This story has more information than was in the attached report. It gives the name of the suspect and states that the windows were up and he was in reverse. How is it anything but murder?
