McConnell back in charge, Rs controlling all senate committees and judicial appointments. Democrats in senate AND house mostly sidelined viewers.

Oh, they'd pass a rewritten physical infrastructure bill, claim it as their own -- with some justification in view of our failure to, and run on that as their achievement for the nation in the midterms.

And the conflagrations threatening our nation would continue to grow, politically and physically.

I've accepted that my anxiety over the future is never going away. I thought we could get big things done, and that we are all on board.

I will pray for an Ohio and PA senate win - and that Warnock holds on in GA. That's all I can do.
And hopefully - things will get better in 2023.

Especially for the major initiatives that can restore and rebuild the nation. He is pushing a false narrative to justify his obstructive behavior and obedience to his lobbyist cronies.

And still caucus with the Dems. He’s not going to flip to GOP. Sinema is a bigger risk for that.

I think she's a bigger risk to go indy then him, but truthfully I think that she just doesn't care. I think she's not running again, and is just setting up the next thing before she's done with this one. Either that, or she is just spectacularly bad at reading the room and thinks that somehow she can shoehorn herself into the "Mavericky" role that McCain had by pulling these stunts.

If people don't like it now, try to imagine what having 49 is like. Joe Manchin is a senator in a state Trump won by 30 points.

"He can be replaced by a robot that does nothing but run backwards and shoot off its mouth."

I almost wish Rich Ojeda would run. Yeah, he voted for tfg, but he immediately repented and has spent time making up for it. He was also a leader in the teachers' strike, and my friend's husband, who is a Democrat teaching middle school math in Logan County, thinks very highly of him.
