Why do Democrats always seem to wait until the last minute in elections

It seems like every time we have an election like the VA Governors race that Democrats wait until 1 or 2 weeks out to bring in surrogates like Obama…it’s like they finally see that the polls are close and are like “oh shit, let’s send out Obama”…but at that point it is too late….it takes more than just one Obama rally on the eve before the election to motivate voters….surrogates like him should have been out touting mccauliffe when the polls were good months ago keeping voter motivation up not waiting until the end trying to bring unmotivated voters out

In California's recall.
It seems that regardless that's how many ads run in a race people don't start paying attention till the last couple weeks before the election no matter what.

What's wrong with...
Why don't they...
Seem to wait...

No link, nothing to back up the steady statements broadbrushing the entire Democratic Party as incompetant.

What outcome in 2020 would you have preferred?
What outcome would you prefer in 22 & 24 then, to turn that entire broadbrushed Democratic Party into a powerhouse.
All fall in line or else?

I don't get where your negative statements about the Democrats are leading as far as solutions to what you view as failure after failure.

Would appreciate a follow-up to your repeated negative statements about our Democratic Party.

I'll wait . .

Umm, how about winning more House and Senate races that we were supposed to win

Edit - and I guess I am being negative because I see a lot of voter apathy at a time when our democracy is in peril if we don’t vote..:I feel as if I am seeing the same patterns that got us in trouble in 2010…and we still haven’t fully recovered from the consequences of those elections…and if we don’t get our act together 2022 will be worse, but this time what happened in 2012 won’t happen in 2024….Republicans wins in 2022 will allow them to set up the process to have Trump “win” in 2024….and then we are screwed from the there

You bring them in this late because this is when most voters are actually paying attention.
