He is the definition of believing in something just for the sake of believing in it
He can't find proof to support his assertion, so he just continues repeating it; kind of like a parrot (or a republican congressional rep)

I never expected Manchin to be successful but I was hoping for a couple of votes. MoscowMitch appears to have been successful in whipping the votes against Manchin to keep a couple of GOP senators from voting.

The next step is to use nuke option to force a talking filibuster which would be fun to watch
