People (prosecutors, judges, administrators) should fined enormously if not jailed for something like this. He was held for 3yrs with no trial.

Criminals like DT get the benefit of statutes of limitations for some crimes. Which has led to a defense strategy of “running out the clock” if a person has the resources to endlessly appeal decisions or file lawsuits. That should not be allowed Justice is not a sport. Take for instance the current lawsuit DT has filed about executive privilege for the documents President Biden has ruled do not have EP that the 1/6 Committee wants. That lawsuit should have never even been allowed to be filled. I wonder how many frivolous cases are pending right now are in the pipeline clogging it up awaiting trial time. Cases that have no business taking up a courts time when there are people sitting a hell hole like Rikers awaiting trial.

I realize there is a geographical separation in jurisdiction and that some courts only deal with certain type crimes. Certainly the court dealing with the frivolous EP lawsuit by DT is not the same court that maybe could have given Mr. Browder a hearing. However the justice department’s budget is finite and resources used to provide capacity to process lawsuits could maybe be better allocated to ensure that a persons constitutional 6th amendment right to a speedy trial is fulfilled.
