I gave these schmucks money when they were campaigning. So I feel like I'M at fault here, too.

I trusted them. They BOTH betrayed me. And I WILL NOT be donating to either of their campaigns EVER AGAIN.

Leave a message if that’s all that can be done. Doubtful you can expect a real live human to answer the phone. But they take notice of how many calls are coming in and on which topics. If there’s something that starts to be pretty glaring, it’ll be “gee, there’s about 3 to 6 calls about x or y issue, but so far I’ve counted 132 on z. Make sure he/she knows…”

She's still weaseling, trying to keep people from knowing what she's doing and who she is.

Manchin's what he's always been and said he was. He's very well known by now to WVans who've paid attention.

To me, a world of difference. I don't vote for politicians who deceive the electorate, at least once I realize what they are.

showed she had a net worth of $35k. Now it's close to a million. I would say that on a salary of $174K, it would be quite a trick to manage even with speeches, etc. Where are the Senate Ethics committee hearings on this?

Even if she only serves one term, she gets a pension to add to her lobbyist paycheck.

Democrats who voted for him. He's liberal on some issues, but as you say not as left as all of us would like, and my guess is never beyond the 80M-voter liberal Democratic electorate -- as a few would like.
