There used to be something called a "limit" that had existed in something called "reality".
As all must now agree, these concepts are now widely considered ---at best, "quaint"--- at worst, foolishly naive.
There are now people in Congress, for cryin' out loud, who shamelessly pursue the destruction of our democracy, insist that the loser of the last election is still POTUS and that members of some sort of "Jewish elite" are intentionally starting first fires with "space lasers"! These are just a few examples of the sort of policies and pronouncements that have made "You just can't make this shit up!" one of the most frequently voiced reactions to the daily political news.
I will not tire you with a list of other actions and words which used to be considered "over the top", "out of bounds" or even "career ending". These are no longer relevant characterizations because they presume that some things are "appropriate" while others are not; i.e., that those "quaint" limits still exist. For too many, they do not.
In a time when those who used to be considered lunatics or congenital liars can persuade tens (hundreds?) of thousands to refuse scientifically proven vaccines while they gag down tubes of horse-wormer paste, are we not ourselves fools to expect that "reason" will eventually prevail?
As we make our own personal decisions about how we can best help Joe Biden implement his agenda, let's keep in mind: THEY have no limits.
