republicans were dead set against frivolous law suits?
At least that's what they said after writing and passing H.R.720 in 2017, the Lawsuit Abuse Reduction Act.
Gee, Devin Nunes voted FOR that legislation. I guess he was only thinking about other people's frivolous law suits. Yeah, that's it. Devin Nunes would never be a hypocrite.

They have won in court the argument that they are entertainment and not news. So they might be able to join the brief as an entertainment organization, but they are not, by their own definition news. Why they are allowed at presidential briefings is beyond me. If they have a press pass, they may be presenting false identification.
