I loved the first couple of books and I am planning on seeing the latest movie. I have seen the first Dune movie and a couple of miniseries based on the book.

(63,221 posts)Power attracts the corruptable (ego, greed, narcissism, etc.) and once there the high of power corrupts even further.
It feeds on itself. It's like a high for these people and they can't get enough of it. Eventually most of them end up doing themselves in, but not before causing a lot of damage to others.
