Far-Right Congressman Tricked Jan. 6 Planners With 'Blanket Pardon' Promise, Says Report

trump chumps:

Hours after a pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol, Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) baselessly accused antifa protesters of being behind the insurrection. But, according to an exclusive report from Rolling Stone, Gosar knew exactly who was to blame—and even offered them a pardon ahead of the events of Jan. 6. An unnamed organizer of the Stop the Steal rally that preceded the riot told the magazine that Gosar offered planners a “blanket pardon” in an unrelated investigation to incentivize them to organize the pro-Trump protests on Jan. 6. “Our impression was that it was a done deal... that he’d spoken to the president about it in the Oval … in a meeting about pardons and that our names came up,” said the organizer. The source claimed Gosar told them: “I was just going over the list of pardons and we just wanted to tell you guys how much we appreciate all the hard work you’ve been doing.” Rolling Stone also reports that at least three rally organizers are cooperating with the House panel probing the riot, and have alleged several members of Congress were “intimately involved” in the plans.

14th Amendment, Section 3:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

It will never happen because most of the Republicans support Treason, even if they were not active participants.

Here it is.

Gosar's basically telling the crowd that 1) he realizes the act of storming Congress would be considered a crime; and 2) that the President had offered immunity from prosecution of said crime in order to initiate the riot. Whether Trump actually told Gosar that or whether it was conjured up by the Congressman will determine whether Trump is also culpable for conspiracy to incite.

So there's another line that needs to be drawn. How much did Chump and Bannon agree on ahead of time? Or maybe Bannon delegated it to another person. (?) He's such a slippery snake he must have known this would all come back to him eventually. Bannon isn't crazy like Chump is. He's just a devious schemer, looking for a place to hide while someone else sticks their neck out.

LOCK THEM ALL UP!

after Jan 6 as to whether TFG would try to issue some kind of blanket pardon. I'm surprised he didn't try it. I'm not surprised the insurrectionists did what they did on the presumption that they would receive one so there was nothing to worry about.

They just want to expel Gosar and Marjorie Traitor Greene so that they can go back to their district and be re-elected on the Treason ticket. I am sure that will show them.

Surely no one is so stupid they commit Treason because Paul Gosar of all people said it would be OK...

The people in the Willard War Room are traitors, but they're not that dumb.
