Anybody noticing the newest commercial they're blaming Washington and asking for protection?

What's behind that stupid commercial to protect the tech sector because the "politicians sold us out" and shipped all the jobs to China? I seem to remember that was big business and Walmart, etc. in their drive to make things the absolute cheapest. Whole factories got dismantled and sent overseas by the companies themselves. Now all of a sudden tech is protecting us and shouldn't be "sold out" by the politicians. Does anyone know what's behind it? Which tech jobs do they think need protecting? Who are they sending the message to and what kind of pressure are we being asked to apply to "save" them? Is this all about the drive to set some rules for the social media companies?

I know the ad is trying to make us angry at the politicians by deflecting the blame to them but what else.
