(14,918 posts)pet just for Thanksgiving. They said it would be good for the pet to be around and interact with people even for a day and that the socialization would make them more adoptable. I suspect that they are hoping that at least some of the families would fall in love with the pet and adopt it rather than send it back to the shelter. ❤
