I'm pretty sure we are deluding ourselves that keeping the presidency from Mittens will be a cake walk. I remember being stunned that anyone would even consider Ronnie Raygun, Bush I, Bush II, and especially Bush II's reprise in 2004. But they did. (Yeah I know, Florida, Ohio, Deibold, but they can only steal it if it's close, and it was too close).
So, Common Cause Hawaii is meeting every month, and the meetings are live streamed on Kanu Hawaii's page.

I really hope you folks hui up with your local Common Cause chapter and fire up your communities, because this ship is taking on water, and it can not go down.

(48,955 posts)A family member was a state CC organization board member decades ago. It is a great resource, and has been fighting the fight for good government (per democracy) for a long time.

I don't think there is anyone better, more effective, more organized, but they need us!
