My 90 year old neighbor has Covid. (OANN/QAnon follower)

She is unvaccinated and lives with her son who is also unvaccinated. The son had tested positive with no symptoms and works at a small casino in the area. He went to another (vaccinated) neighbor and asked if she would go to their home and check on his mother while he was at work. She told him that she could not. She is elderly with health issues. She also backed away from him and asked him to continue the conversation outside. He got mad and gave her the “I guess you’re not a good friend” spiel and refused to tell her how the mother was doing. I doubt that it made a difference, but after I heard about this, I called the casino and reported that he had told someone that he tested positive just in case he hadn’t gone through their protocols. (If they have any.) I’m glad that he knew better than to come to me, but am livid that he put my neighbor at risk. I don’t understand how someone can go to another person’s home, announce that he had Covid, not let the person know his current status, and then storm away because the neighbor wasn’t willing to put herself at risk. 🤬🤬🤬

Unfortunately, her son probably infected multiple others.

No one has an obligation to risk their own life to "check on" someone who made an active choice to get a communicable disease during a global pandemic.

They don't think being infected will harm them or others because they believe they have a superior immune system and they know very little about the virus.

care of his mother and the welfare of his friends and community. It's not okay to knowingly spread a dangerous virus. He is pushing off his personal responsibility to others and expecting them to endanger themselves when he should have gotten a free vaccination.

It's these bad irresponsible in-actions that let the virus use another body to mutate. Time for rules to be established on contamination by anti-VAXers.
