Was it to be expected? Stephen Colbert is looking into a Presidential Run

Just now on the Ed Show:

Stephen Colbert is exploring a Presidential Bid for
the "United States of South Carolina" and his Super Pac may be run by Jon Stewart.

We only had the fake clowns so far, I suppose the real ones are possibly on the way.

Does anyone doubt he's smarter than the field?

Plus he has his SuperPac!

With exceptions, comedians need to be extremely intelligent to do a daily gig.

That kind of satire is not at all easy. If he were just writing a pamphlet every three months in that persona, I'd still call him brilliant. To have to visually maintain that persona 5 days a week, with no other people on his show except himself, is pure genius.

Now that is a republican debate that would be watched by millions, just for the word.... Truthiness.
Something Mitt, Newt, Rick one, Rick two and the rest of the gang are none to familiar with.

Colbert will have all of them doubletalking and falling all over themselves.

I would pay to see that!

Boom goes the dynamite!
