(37,573 posts)One funny one in my records was the couple who named a daughter Happy. Her mother's name was Mary Grant and her father's name was Matthew Sadd. She was born before Beethoven and thus well before he wrote Lustig Traurig, which translates into English as Happy Sadd.

Karenhappuch is a Biblical name:
Meaning of Karenhappuch: This name appears in the bible (Job 42, Verse 14) and was the name of Job's third daughter. Its translation from Hebrew is the 'horn of antimony', a black paint used for eyeshadow.

We have a guy (or at least we did---I honestly have not checked lately about this) who was listed in the local phone book as Chuck Roast. A co-worker told me this one day and I doubted it--thought it had to be a myth. Then we looked it up and sure enough, there it was....CHUCK ROAST. I can only imagine the number of prank calls he gets from kids (and grown-ups who never grew up). Hope he has an answering machine and screens his calls.
