I can confirm Donald J. Trump was served via substitute serve upon the doorman at Trump Tower as well as via the Secret Service at Mar-a-Lago. See you in Court, Mr. Trump. @MichaelCohen212 @NYadvocateJKL

(51,129 posts)Albeit the underlying acts certainly were crimes. Cohen was returned to jail and a judge sent him back home in an opinion which certainly will win this case.

(2,216 posts)I am certain that Trump's lawyers will be all over trying to make all of this secret. I am suspecting that Trump will end up settling. I hope Cohen and his lawyers remember that cash upfront is the only way to deal with Agent Orange.

(1,605 posts)Sorry to rain some reality on this parade, but this SOB has been "SERVED" more times than any of us cant count.
Until this privileged and pompous tyrant is actually marched in front of a stern judge or fair jury to TESTIFY, be the spectacle of the world, and expose himself for the con-man he is, I'll save my salvos.
Take. HIM (and them). Down.
He's been served so many times it's second nature to him.
I'm not at all excited about this.

(10,151 posts)Was that he couldn't write a book about Trump. He refused not to write the book and was thrown back in jail. He's suing Trump, the prison system and AG Barr for violation of his First amendment rights.
They did the same thing to Don Siegelman. A condition of his parole was he couldn't speak, or have interviews, with reporters while on home detention.
I didn't know you could do that in the United States unless you were convicted of sedition.
Funny, TFG actually did commit sedition and he's allowed to talk to anyone and write all the picture books he wants.

(38,414 posts)...And I ain't talking about the tennis serves, but the legal ones. I don't think that Donald Trump really has
a clue. And that is according to Stu. ..Why say that?..
Trump has always avoided the hard stuff. Through hook or by crook, he avoids the really bad stuff. Oh he
was impeached,but, not jail.
..Yes, he lost an election, but that isn't going to jail. Trump could be totally broke, and go to jail too.
We will see, but this movie is going to have a great ending, even though it is the 3rd Act out of 4....Who knows what
the ending will be...I know who knows............."The shadow knows" (from a 1940s radio show, for those who don't
know where I got that phrase) Yes, there were great radio shows.............'BACK IN THE DAYS."
