Childless QAnon Influencer Ron Watkins Is Berating 'Communist' School Boards

Ron Watkins is worried about his children, his parental rights, and the dangers posed by “communist creeps” on school boards.

“The communist creeps at our school boards are now taking our parental rights away by teaching our children that they can be vaccinated without parental consent,” Watkins shouted at a school board meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona on Tuesday evening, adding that “communist school boards are now indoctrinating our children with transexual propaganda and teaching them to be racist against white people, by teaching racist Biden’s racist critical race theory.”

Of course schools are not teaching their kids to be racist or spreading “transexual propaganda,” whatever that means. Perhaps Watkins would know that if he had a child enrolled in an Arizona public school, which he doesn’t. Because he doesn’t have a child at all.

But for the QAnon influencer, and many within the conspiracy movement, actually having children is only a minor detail compared to the scale of the war they believe they are fighting against everything from vaccine mandates, critical race theory, and gender politics in schools all across the country.

if they lives in the district and have children going to the school before letting them speak.
If they do not they are put at the end of the line while resident come first.
Just my opinion.

Should be a reason to comment and/or speak up at a school board meeting -whether you are childless or not.

Remember - Not having children in a district doesn't get you out of paying property taxes. 57% of my taxes go towards the public schools in my borough in NJ.

In addition -with the SALT Cap - 100% of my 'duplicate property tax' goes other states who refuse to fund public schools through raising an state income tax.

I may run for school board this year as a childless person - to ensure that those who don't have children have a voice in our district. We tend to be older couples (married older), opposite sex/same sex, and the highest earners in our community. We are the ones who have moved here in the past ten years to renovate a Historic Home district - and our homes are the highest taxed.

That said - would you rather have a resident of the district without children who is FOR all measures we can take to protect the children in our town? Or a resident of numerous children who is a maskhole anti vaxxer?

We've always been extremely supportive of our local schools, and not most by the amount of property taxes we pay toward them, more than most young parents certainly. We care about the children for themselves and for the importance of investing in them for the future of our nation.

Having raised our own and with grandchildren making their way through their various schools now, we also tend to have a little bit of experience with the issues.

of those serving on or running for school boards being required to have children currently enrolled in the public (not private) school system or having had children in the public school system within the previous five years. I feel like they are more in touch with what's going on. Not all those who have kids in the system are maskholes. In fact, in my county (a red county, despite its blue county seat) most are NOT.
