I was always under the impression that anyone born in the US who was not born to diplomats was by birthright a US citizen.

This was a major problem for me personally during most of my career but got amplified during the recession when I was stealing jobs away from "real Americans" and didn't belong in this country of my birth and citizenship.

The equation has since flipped during labor shortage where now I am in high demand for bad employers who need a token US citizen for bad jobs no US citizen will apply for.
