(115,589 posts)An individual's assets can't be seized unless they have been used in the commission of, or are the proceeds of, some crime. You can't take somebody's stuff just because of their nationality.
Justice matters.

(43,051 posts)We're not technically at war so they can't be accused of aiding and abetting. If they weren't US citizens not even sure if that would apply. Freezing them is the best option.

We need new laws to deal with this type of warfare, which they've waged on the West for the past 20 years.
