Putin is starting to back down, Thank you president Biden, great job.
The president of Ukraine, people of Ukraine, have shown great courage, it brings tears to my eyes. However, Biden deserves a lot of credit for quickly uniting the world against Putin. Supplying the weapons that helped the Ukrainians fight. Putting in place sanctions that hurt Russia badly.
We don't know how this is going to end yet. One thing is for sure, Putin is not going to take over all of Ukraine and Biden is a big reason why.

1. Joe Biden is the best President of my lifetime.
I don't trust Putin even a little bit but this might be very good news.

10. And NOBODY should ever forget that
If Putin retreats, accepts a face-saving settlement he is inwardly furious with, look for Invasion 2.0 right around this time next year.

It doesn't matter what he says during negotiations, he is proven liar.

4. JB sent his finest VP to gather Allies & carry out the only plan Putin would react to.
Thanks NATO, Thank you VP Harris, & Thank You President Joe Biden!
Biden's Foreign Policy chops is unmatched. Bet Vlad crapped himself the night of Jan 6, when Speaker Pelosi called her House in session & sealed his fate. |

6. He's backing down from mounting a ground attack on Kyiv.
But I don't expect attacks on Kharkiv or Mariupol to relent any time soon, unfortunately.
And Kyiv could still be subjected to air strikes. I mean, Lviv has been subjected to air strikes and it's over 300 miles from the nearest Russian infantry soldier. That being said, I'm glad the Ukrainians have appeared to repelled a full-fledged ground assault on Kyiv, which is just an absolutely stunning city. And a continued thanks to our President as well. |

He is remarkably ABSENT from Facebook today. Must be busy-busy-busy today!
I swear that man LIVES for gotchas of Biden and the Democrats in general. Oh well, maybe it's time to bash our Dem governor or our two Dem senators or our Dem House member...Dems, Dems, Dems as far as the eye can see here in Jolly New Haven... |

Even if Russia completely pulls out of Ukraine, the economic pressure must remain on Putin until he is gone.

Their assets must be seized & handed to UKR to rebuild the devastated country.

12. Putin is pretending to back down, but intends to come roaring back ASAP.
All he has to do is get drumpf a win and he can reconstitute by force the old USSR, or so he thinks.

13. Don't give the GQP any ideas
They will end up on every news show talking how Putin is backing down. Putin does not want to be seen as backing down. He wants to be seen as the winner. If he thinks the world is looking at him as backing down he will invade more countries.

14. That's what being a leader is all about
Without a definitive course of action by the US, the EU and other allies would need to reach a concensus or each choose to act independently. Instead, Biden was right there with a ready-to-go plan that was easy to get behind. Putin did not expect an administration that was able to operate without the protagonists and bad actors being informed of the new game plan.

Can you imagine having a US president praising Putin? Just imagine how demoralizing that would be. Oh wait...
