One party wants to take away your rights, the other wants to defend your rights.

It's a simple straightforward message that can be supported with examples like a woman's right (& freedom) to choose, the right (& freedom) to vote in the manner you choose (in person, by mail, using a drop box), the right (& freedom) to marry the person you love (regardless of your gender) etc

Note that these things are all rights & freedoms that apply to all Americans, & Republicans want to take them away. Democrats are defending them.

If you want to defend your American rights & freedoms, vote for Democrats.

I think that this is an easy concept to understand even for Repug supporters.

When will the Repugs come for your guns? The Right to Bear Arms. And what other rights will they take away? Think about it people.

When the Repugs end our democracy and establish a Putin type of autocratic government - they can't take the chance that there will be any people that would protest their ways.

You will be shut down - just like Putin has shut down the Russian People. That is where we are headed. Is that what you want?

4. What I've said for years...

What the Democratic party needs to get louder about, and run on. Making it clear to the people that they stand for and fight for human rights (among other things, but this is the most important message and issue), while the other party wants to strip rights from anyone who isn't like them.

This is also why I've balked at calling this "culture wars." This is way beyond culture wars. This is trying to oppress the rights of anyone they don't like and don't view as a human.

We're the party that stands for freedom and human rights for all. They're the party that stands for tyranny and fascism.
