Republican Congressman Sam Graves Heckled During Chamber Event
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - A northwest Missouri lawmaker got an earful Tuesday during a speaking event in St. Joseph.
Protesters interrupted Congressman's Sam Graves during his presentation at the Metro Chamber's St. Joe Rising event at the Holiday Inn.
The protesters are part of the Occupy movement.
They shouted "mic check" at Graves during his address.
"Basically, what we came here to do was a mic check. This is the only way we could get our government to listen to us is to just be loud about it," said Amanda Jungk with the occupy movement.
