The Belgians cynically started to say among themselves that reported violent crimes, where the identity of the perpetrator was left out, were committed by “the Swedes.” As violent crimes really committed by Swedish citizens in Belgium are non-existant, like the audience at this high school, everyone knew what was meant, and the censorship came across as all the more moronic because of it.
