60 (a couple at his house) x 30 = 1800 rounds...of course not all may have been fully loaded.

2. Seems like the reports have varied quite a bit on his huns and ammo

I think it might be a while before accurate info is public.

1600 rounds packed in mags is a bit of a heavy load. That might explain why some reports say he dropped his backpack.

4. I had heard he had three 30 round magazines, maybe he had cartridges to reload the magazines.

Fifty-eight empty magazines would cost hundreds of dollars and if they were loaded would be
very heavy.

had with him 1000 rounds, 1600 rounds and now 1650 rounds. I have seen stories that he fired 100 rounds, hundreds of rounds, 350 rounds and 375 rounds. I have seen stories that he had 6 magazines, 7 magazines, 22 magazines, 30 magazines and 58 magazines.

Aside from the obvious numerical discrepancies, most of this doesn’t make a lot of sense. 1600 rounds would cost in excess of $1000 even if purchased in large lots. If you bought it in 20 round boxes, it would be 2-3 times that much. Unless he bought the absolute cheapest magazines they would be at least $15-20 each.

Six magazines and $1650 rounds also makes no sense. Even if all six were 100 round drums (which cost $200+ each), you still have more than 1000 rounds that would have to be loaded into magazines in order to be fired. Why lug that much virtually useless dead weight?

The information released by the authorities is all over the lot, and so is the reporting. I’d like someone to ask them to reconcile the numbers, and if these huge round and magazine counts are accurate, tell us how an 18 year-old who worked part-time at Burger King (assuming THAT is true) came up with $3000-4000 to buy 2 AR 15s, 1600+ rounds of ammunition and more than 50 magazines.

weapons,1600 rounds of ammo and 58x30 round magazines, I would be a little reluctant to
sell them and at least report it.

…their birthday to not be so obvious about it with a same day purchase.

Which begs the question, what is the time length to wait after turning 18 that the purchase is no longer suspicious? A few days, weeks or months?

They didn’t think there were wounded babies in there who might have been saved if they’d gotten out and gotten medical assistance?

Let them explain that.

13. We cannot trust the police to tell the truth

The cops did nothing even though they were trained for this situation.

They will not tell the truth because they want to cover up their ineptness and cowardice.

The Supreme Court has ruled that the police do not have an obligation to protect the citizenry. Then why do we have police forces? To pass out speeding and parking tickets?

In many communities, the cost of police forces is one of the largest expenses in their tax-funded budgets. If they aren't going to protect us, why do we pay them?

14. Per McGraw...58 mags at school, 60 total...
Sun May 29, 2022, 08:39 AM
May 2022
There were 142 spent rounds found inside the school, McCraw said, along with 173 live rounds. The gunman had a total of 60 magazines with him, he said, including 31 magazines that were in a backpack that he did not take with him inside the school.

Of the 315 rounds found inside the school, 142 were spent cartridges, or fired bullets, and 173 were live rounds, or unfired bullets, McCraw said. He also said 922 rounds were outside the school, but on school property, and of those, 22 were spent cartridges and 900 were live rounds.

Investigators found 60 magazines total – 58 in and around the school and at the site where the suspect crashed his car, and two at his residence.
