I had no idea Katie had such an interesting life. The helicopter, her father's sex change and abandonment,, early days covering damn near everything in NYC, backstage rumors and gossip, Keith.. . She pretty well covered everything without the rancor you would expect. Explained a lot. Gained new respect for her.

I may check out her new book.

It also covers a lot of her early life — helicopter, dad, and all. She’s quite a gal.

…a career-ender and a reputation-ender. At some point he started pointing her out to the mob and mocking, “Little Katie Tur. Fake News. There she is.” It got damn scary.

Wasn't as interesting as I expected, except for the parts about her parents.

6. She wrote a book a few years ago

It's mostly a memoir but she also covers the background and politics of Chump's 2016 campaign which was interesting and entertaining. Now that I've learned her life story (from the book) I like her a lot more.

9. They brought up the Trump book but spent no time on it this time..

Apparently, Terri interviewed her when the book came out. I haven't had time to look that one up. (I rarely have time to look up anything Trump.)

8. I saw a segment on her over the weekend, it must have been Sunday Morning, the one

with Jane Pauley. VERY interesting... I've been a fan of hers for a while but had no idea about her past. What a childhood with the helicopter rides as a plus but of course her father issues.
