Todays ruling is an unenforceable mess passed by lies, deception and stupidity.

Women will die. Women will still get abortions. Republican controlled states will pass crazy laws that will be difficult to enforce and will cost those states a lot of money to enforce. It will lead to legal problems.

The only way to stop women from getting abortions is to arrest them. That is not feasible in my opinion. Are they going to arrest hundreds of thousands of women every year? This decision will create chaos. It's going to lead to, create, a lot of problems. It will create an underground black market. It will put pressure on the healthcare systems in Republican states that already have shit healthcare systems.

It kind of reminds me of prohibition. Banning booze led to complete chaos. It was unenforceable, no matter how many people were arrested it did not stop people from getting booze.

5. Prohibition is a great example.....

of what happens when you make something illegal that has been legal for along time, and that people want. It doesn't work. There were even some good reasons to try and ban alcohol.

I'm expecting intense chaos will result from this Supreme Court decision -- bizarre arrests made by stressed out police departments, courts clogged with ridiculous cases, groups providing illegal abortions springing up, state border patrols harassing women, etc.
