Hey y'all! Quit whining and volunteer.

It's time to stop crying in your beer. On Facebook, all I see is whine, whine, whine about our losses. I'm a tired 60 year old nurse, I have a disabled wife, so I do almost all of the work around the house, I rescue animals including trapping, neutering and releasing feral cats in my neighborhood and I work almost 50 hours a week. I found the time and energy to volunteer for the Democrats in Florida.

So, get off your asses. Do more than vote. VOLUNTEER!!!

3. Calling grief "whining" does not get your point across. Thanks for filling us in about your virtue.

Your assumption that no one else volunteers is incorrect.

The time is now. Elections are in November. We don't have time to grieve. Get angry. Let this motivate people to get busy.

And I was mostly talking about people on Facebook, not so much here.

6. No one is whining. Everyone has hardships. Many of us work hard

despite of these hardships.

Many of us volunteer.

Many of us have reduced social contact because of Covid.

Many of us are sick or in pain, but we fight through it.

Many of us, and yes, men as well, are shocked, pissed off.

Many of us have helped other people all through our own lives in ways no one here will ever know.

DU is a safe space to express our opinions and our rage, freely.
