Thomas may hand the elections to the Democrats all by himself. I can already imagine the political ads showing his ugly, angry, face with his quotes underneath saying what rights he wants to take away. This is what happens with out of control extremism, it destroys itself. Always has, always will.

(10,163 posts)policy, and executive decisions for Constitutionality is when they became kings.
It's a power that keeps on giving. So, you outlaw abortion then when legislation gives abortion back, you declare the law unconstitutional. No one can ever pass a law or enact policy that the Supremely Religious Court does not approve. They are nine unelected kings of America. They proved it with Bush v Gore and turning back long standing rights.
Too bad there's no way the Dem House, Dem Senate or Dem President can add 3 to 4 additional judges to make the Supremes more representative of the American people. I guess birth control, Gay marriage and LGBTQ+ rights are gone too. Then mandatory Christian classes in school and more Christian theme Parks funded by our tax dollars. Time to get slavery out the prisons and pregnant women and into corporate jobs. The Bible is a big advocate of slavery too.

(720 posts)Can't tell who the real Supreme Leader is--Thomas or Alito? Probably Alito. Certainly not Roberts, though he nominally holds the title.
