Does anyone know if the people of WI got the necessary # of signatures needed to recall Walker?

I haven't seen news on this lately, and I know they wanted way over the necessary number of signatures needed to trigger the recall (over 500,000 I think). Does anyone know? TIA.

Needing only 0.5 million.

2. It was mentioned on one of the talk shows last night, (can't remember which one),

that they do have the signatures they need. Perhaps one of the Wisconsin DUers will weigh in with better information.

recall hearing any exact numbers-only what they PLANNED on getting.

7. shhhh--You didn't hear it here, but

there were 25,000 volunteers collecting signatures, and the total number of sigs is likely to exceed 900,000. This is the last day of signature collection, & that word is being bruited about among insiders.

16. My sources could be wrong, but I think they're playing it close to the vest

with the numbers. It was 720K a while back, & the last petition have not yet been turned in.

10. Im pretty sure the official line

is that they will not release the numbers until they go to turn them in.

Given that they had almost reached the number at the halfway mark, it seems certain that they got them, but I think that they are holding back just so that they can keep going and gather as big an overage as possible.
