I play in a community concert band and we do not stand to play the National Anthem as some band instruments are not easily played while standing. But I have to play all the patriotic crap we do at this particular concert. At least I know that our director and quite a few of us feel like I do.
However I will not sing those words so I did not attend church this AM.

Love fireworks, and a tradition going with a friend. Nice Indian dinner before.
