Please realize she is helping us to help herself...Her old guard father and his supporters are on a mission to elevate her to lead their conservative ideas tomorrow.

Just like Kahn/ Star Trek Into Darkness movie/ in the Kelvin Timeline played by Bennedict Cumberbatch....

Kahn was there to help Kirk and Spock on the Enterprise as it only served his mission goals to get his torpedoes which housed his people.

Liz is playing the role of Kahn...

She is reality-based...

It is harder to argue with someone who is not reality-based, as you must first argue about what the reality is--
and with the insane Trump-humping GQP, that argument can never be resolved!

So we can never get to the point of debating their ideas...
except, they have no ideas except "whatever Trump says"

That's why they had no party platform in 2020.

"This is not Lincoln's Republican party anymore"...

.... and are willing to sacrifice for it, than for people who just want attention or power.

I'm 100% pro-choice, for example, but I can respect those who have thought their position through and genuinely disagree, vs those who are just "my pastor told me so, and that's all I need,"

I'd hate being in a President Liz Cheney America, but at least it would be a sane, reality-based place. RIight now I feel like an outnumbered child of cultist parents--they have the power so I'm swept along in their sincerely believed yet misinformed torrent of misinformation.

I’m under no illusions about Liz Cheney and disagree with most of her views, but what she did took integrity and courage. You rarely see a politician or anyone in a position of power willing to put it all on the line in order to do the right thing and that’s something I greatly admire about her. I’m sad and apprehensive because the GOP has gone full on evil batshit crazy. Her opponent looks and sounds like a comic book villain. Hell, 99% of Republicans do these days.

Has she said anything about a Presidential run?

I am guessing her district is very red and there is not enough cross over support to help in the primary.

She has until Aug 29 to file to run as an independent, but I doubt she will.
