I don't know exactly how this would be done, but the FBI should be checking if any new

copying machines were delivered to MAL since Trump scurried home there.

How about increases in copy paper, "banker boxes", ink cartridges, etc.?

Think the worst.

You can snap a photo on your phone and send it all over the world now. A copying machine isn't the only way he can duplicate the secret documents.

Despite his prolific tweeting, Trump is, in many ways, a Luddite.

First, it is the ones like the love letter from Kim. This is the types of documents he can show off to people to show what an important person he is. A copy of Kim's letter just doesn't do the trick. Showing off the original is the way to go.

Second, secret documents that he is selling. No foreign government will buy a physical paper copy of those documents. They don't want to meet up and do the actual transaction. Everything is digital so they can encrypt and use backdoor secret channels to hide.

For the 2nd category, he should be going to jail.

He wants to be able to show it off when people go to MAL and makes it an "attraction" so people would pay the crazy money to visit MAL. It's different when you can show it off and let people touch the actual paper.

But one of their main complain for Hillary's email server is that it connects to the internet, thus not secure. They could use a camera to take pictures and store in a SD card or USB with no internet to trace.

A nearly invisible pattern is embedded in each page printed or copied onto paper. These codes are unique for each printer / copier.

You don't need copy machines in the modern world. You're not handing over physical documents.
