Gas prices last night: someone wrote Biden did that on the pump 😀

So I got some gas in the way home. Filled half a tank, I barely drive at all anymore and I never drove that much in recent years, just locally and to work mostly. Regular is down to 3.39 from last time. While I’m getting the gas I look at the part where it says regular and I noticed someone wrote in permanent marker Biden did this, lol. At first I thought it was a criticism of Biden but then I realized it was the opposite. I took a photograph of it on my phone but I can’t post it here unfortunately.

7. The cost of diesel is still way up there

Impacts the cost of everything that moves by truck.

My car requires premium which is still around $4.50 per gallon by me. Being retired, that takes a lot of $$ to fill my tank.

9. Noticed On Highway Sunday

Big truck stop at an interstate exit.
Gas down to $3.989. Diesel still a buck & a half higher. But,...
At a station here in town was $4.049 with diesel only 36 cents higher.
That's a lot of variation over a span of 10 miles!
Engineer I know at refinery around here tells me cracker & distillation conditions being changed to get more heavies & fewer lights.
That might shift diesel supply upward & help drive price downward.
