Seems Trump's lawyers pissed-off Judge Dearie

https://www.rawstory.com/trump-court-documents-hearing/

'Trump's first day with the special master isn't going very well'

'What was made clear in court is that Trump's own lawyers have no idea what the former president actually had. It's unknown if Trump simply hasn't told them or Trump doesn't himself know.

“What business is it of the court? … As far as I’m concerned that’s the end of it," Dearie explained, assuming the Trump side doesn't have any evidence of declassification.

Dearie seemed insulted by the Trump lawyers' claim at one point that he was going beyond the scope of Judge Aileen Cannon's orders.'

Declassifying the documents to the supreme court. It's a red herring anyway since he was caught with stolen documents. Case closed.

4. It is basically out of her hands at this point...the 11th and/or SCOTUS will have the final word.

I can't see SCOTUS with all their failures breaking the law for Trump...or the 11th for that matter.

and SCOTUS, I'm taking NOTHING for granted. SO MANY legal minds and columnists said that there was NO WAY that Loose Cannon would grant the 'wish' for the 'Special Master' - and every step that they said 'would not happen' has happened.

Sorry, I'll believe the 'good stuff' when I SEE the 'good stuff.'

I could not get onto the call in for the special hearing and evidently the people who were on the call were not muted. One person wat at the hearing and here is their report

https://www.politico.com/news/2022/09/20/trump-special-master-judge-mar-a-lago-00057805

NEW YORK — The senior federal judge tasked with reviewing the materials seized by the FBI from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate sharply questioned the former president’s attorneys Tuesday during their first hearing before his courtroom.

Judge Raymond Dearie pushed Trump’s lawyers repeatedly for refusing to back up the former president’s claim that he declassified the highly sensitive national security-related records discovered in his residence.

“You can’t have your cake and eat it too,” said Dearie, the “special master” picked by U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon to vet Trump’s effort to reclaim the materials taken by federal investigators.

Trump has argued that the 11,000 documents taken from Mar-a-Lago were rightfully in his possession, including about 100 bearing classification markings that suggest they contain some of the nation’s most closely guarded intelligence.
