n a pot calling the kettle “you know what,” Donald Trump has been weight-shaming Ron DeSantis and Chris Christie behind their considerable backsides. According to a new book by The New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, the “perfect physical specimen” said that Christie had a “weight problem,” and called DeSantis “whiny,” and “fat.”

This isn’t the first time it’s been reported that the ex-President has said less than flattering things against his former protege DeSantis, who is being touted as the frontrunner to secure the 2024 Republican presidential nomination and is polling ahead of Trump. The ex-President reportedly knocked the Florida governor’s personality, referring to him as “dull.” DeSantis’ refusal to publicly state he isn’t going to run isn’t sitting well with the former president, who has privately called DeSantis “ungrateful,” and has whined, “Why won’t he just say he’s not going to run against me?” Business Insider reported.

“He says DeSantis has no personal charisma and has a dull personality.”

Axios‘ Jonathan Swan spoke with sources close to the matter, who told the reporter:
