FL devastation post hurricane will surely throw a monkey wrench into voting in Nov. In those areas most affected, probably very few polling places, people who lost their IDs, fewer poll workers.

(15,758 posts)They will be fine and get whatever needs completed. Voting will still happen. I dont think theres ever been a time where we didnt vote on the day we were supposed to. People have their Drivers licenses in the dryer. Floridians are pretty strong willed community. Theyll buckle down and get done what theyre supposed to. Yes weve had hurricanes in other areas of the country where the population broke down and didnt know what to do and waited for instruction. Floridians are definitely not like that.

(10,141 posts)Ron will make sure they'll have the opportunity to vote for him. Had it been Miami-Dade and Broward counties, it would be a different story.

(224 posts)Ever since moved here from Georgia I stay amazed with the positive dealing with Mail in ballots for all elections here. Sarasota is always sharp. Not likely to have problems in this area.
The election workers have been awesomely legitimate for me in my "official" independent status.
