A GOP Candidate For Office In Arizona Told Police That He Was Only Masturbating Near A Preschool Because He Was ‘Really Stressed’

According to the officer’s report, Kaufman was parked across the street from a child care center. Kaufman had reportedly covered the windshield with a shade screen, which the officer found suspicious and went over to investigate. What I'm calling an "escape clause" is when someone wants to push the idea that "Christian" means "good person", but they see other people who call themselves Christian acting horribly and say, "They're not true Christians!".

Yes, sorry, they are still truly Christians if they call themselves Christian and purport to follow the faith, even if they are terrible at it. True membership in a faith is purely a matter of self-identification with the faith, nothing more.
