"They" have been brainwashed by Fox, GOP pols, hate talk radio/TV, their "pastors," their own ....

.. insular group of family and friends, and right wing troll bots/social media (Russian in many cases) that
Speaker Pelosi was their enemy because she had a "liberal agenda." Speaker Pelosi's liberal agenda is
what she has PUBLICLY RUN ON, WAS ELECTED BY HER CONSTITUENTS TO DO, AND HAS WORKED FOR
ALL HER CAREER now people may disagree with her views but she has every right to do and say what she
did and does under our Constitution but it is the hate talkers and so on on the right that have made her a
target of their bile and hate.

In Ohio JD Vance has been running ads non stop linking Speaker Pelosi to Tim Ryan although after the
attack on Paul Pelosi he has deleted the picture of Speaker Pelosi which made her look old and ugly.

We have the solution and that is to vote and vote in massive #s.

... deal in Vietnam (Nixon signed the exact same deal in 1973) and his "southern strategy." BTW one of
the finest men I have ever known was Gov. Ray Shafer of PA. He was our next door neighbor's brother
and a Republican too.

In 2010. He would’ve been senator, no doubt, but Sean Hannity and his tea party ilk decided to run Christine O’Donnell against him in the primary. Primaries were very new to Delaware and Republicans were expecting Castle to be nominated. Their “not a witch” O’Donnell was soundly defeated by our current Senator Chris Coons. Mike Castle was a very good guy. Delaware Republican party has never recovered. At this point everything Republicans do is simply out of spite

It took him a few years, but he and his followers have achieved their goals. I always liked Dan Evans (Republican Washington State Governor) and despite the fact that his successor was a Democrat (who I did not like) we had better governance under his tenure.

Republicans have been descending into extremism for a long time. They know they can't control and overthrow America any other way. I hate to think what will happen when all of us older liberals are dead and gone. I'm afraid USA will sink into total extremism. For our kids and Grandkids it will be a disaster. The beautiful quiet days of my childhood are long gone!!

So when all the Bosses and all the Preachers tell folks to support Republicans, they do.

Trump is a combination of The Bossman and The Preacher. He was promoted as The Tough Bossman for years on The Apprentice and he adopts the style and appearance of The Televangelist Preacher (big hair, expensive suits, private jet, loud talk, speaks in definitive and bombastic terms).

It's no surprise the rubes love him. He is a walking symbol of working-class authority figures.
