(35,300 posts)Even if I read, "Though the polls may have closed across Texas, voters in Harris County had until 8 p.m. to get out and vote. Follow along for live updates." My clock (I live in Houston, TX) says it's 7:39 pm.

(37,999 posts)Texas has posted the early voting results and that's where Beto's lead came from. Now that the same-day results are coming in, the race is tightening.
A handy free thing to do is go to Google and type in "Texas Election Results"

Go to sleep at a reasonable hour.

Go to work. By quitting time there's likely to be some reasonably authoritative results.
It not, repeat "dal segno".
And try again on Thursday.
