And I'm sending my biggest fuck you to Betsy Johnson and Phil Knight. Betsy for running her "unaffiliated" candidacy so she didn't have to face a primary fight and show the state just how unpopular she is. She bled early support away from Kotek and made Christina Drazan look far better than she deserved.

But Knight, one of the founders of Nike, pumped a lot of money into Johnson's campaign until it became obvious she wasn't going to make a very good showing. At which point, Knight started pumping money into Drazan's campaign. Apparently the playing field isn't tilted heavily enough in favor of the idle rich, and Knight needed to put his thumb on the scale. And now he's got nothing to show for it, and a governor who might just decide that companies making a lot of money on overseas slave labor need to be held a little more accountable.

So fuck you, Betsy, and really fuck you, Phil.

Now let’s get that NCAA Football championship. Nike began there in Duck Nation with Bowerman and Pre. Funny how Knight that got so wealthy from the Nike patent is now the super loser he was last night. Kotek ran like Pre. All the way through the tape, making the competition feel the pain.
